I was at a corner store with a girl getting drinks to take back to my place. She stops to talk to people she knows. I go to the other side of the store and get lost. The overhead intercom says they ate closing, so I start running to the front exit, but lose my shoe. I start looking under a clothes rack for it, and a familiar face hands me my shoes, and walks away. When I finally get out of the store, I see the face again, and it is a cousin of my ex wife. He says he wants to fight me, and then two brothers of a old neighborhood friend come out of the shadows and say they want to fight me. I knock out one of them and say to the rest, “let’s go.” I end up at a convention center, waiting for a boxing match to start. I find out my son Dominic is fighting in the match, and that I have to get my brother a birthday gift. I see my ex wife, but ignore her, watch the boxing match. My son wins, and I give my brother a birthday gift. I end up at a haunted house, but, I am a young girl, looking for a way out of the house. The house stops trying to scare me, and tells me I am free to go, but, I see two girls come in the house and try to start a seance. One of them gets scared and leaves, and I cry out for help to the other one, but them I realize that I am a ghost and they are starting a seance to contact me.
This dream appears to have several interconnected motifs and themes that may point to underlying emotions and experiences in your life.
The corner store symbolizes choices and decisions in your waking life. It seems that you are with someone who is more socially connected and outgoing than you, as represented by the girl talking to people she knows while you get lost. This may reflect feelings of being overshadowed or left behind in social situations.
The running to the front exit and losing your shoe suggests a sense of urgency and a fear of missing out or being left behind. The familiar face returning your shoe may symbolize someone from your past who unexpectedly offers assistance or support when you feel lost.
Encountering your cousin-in-law and the neighborhood friends who want to fight you might represent unresolved conflicts or tensions in your relationships. Knocking out one of them and saying "let's go" indicates a sense of readiness to confront and overcome these challenges.
Arriving at a convention center and watching your son win a boxing match reflects feelings of pride and support for your loved ones. However, the mention of getting your brother a birthday gift might suggest a sense of responsibility or obligation towards family members.
The shift to the haunted house and becoming a young girl represents a change in perspective or identity. The house initially tries to scare you, but then tells you that you are free to go. This may symbolize a release from fears or anxieties. However, when realizing that you are a ghost and the seance is meant to contact you, it implies a sense of longing or a desire to be remembered or acknowledged.
Overall, this dream may suggest a mixture of social dynamics, conflicts, familial roles, and a search for identity and recognition. It may be reflecting your subconscious thoughts and emotions surrounding these aspects of your life.
